Founded in 2016 with a simple conviction: shifting homes and offices should be transparent, reliable, and stress-free. Eight years and 12,000+ moves later, that mission still drives everything we do.
Our Story
IVAT was born out of frustration. Our founders — Tapasvi Yadav and Laxmi N Agarwal — had experienced firsthand how opaque and stressful the shifting industry was: vague quotes, last-minute price hikes, and careless handling of cherished belongings.
They set out to build a different kind of moving company — one where every customer gets a fixed written quote before a single item is packed, where in-house trained crews (never subcontractors) handle every move, and where transit insurance is standard, not an upsell.
Starting with a small crew in Gurgaon in 2016, IVAT has grown steadily through word of mouth and repeat customers. Today, we serve five NCR cities and have completed over 12,000 relocations — with a damage claim rate of under 1%.
Our Journey
