1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using the services of IVAT Packers and Movers ("the Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Offered

IVAT Packers and Movers provides professional packers and movers services including household shifting, office relocation, storage and warehousing, full truck load (FTL) transport, bike transport, and car transport within Delhi NCR and across India.

3. Quotation and Pricing

• All quotations are based on a pre-move survey or information provided by the customer.
• Quoted prices are fixed once confirmed in writing, subject to no material change in inventory or move scope.
• Additional charges may apply for items not disclosed during the survey, extra floors without lifts, long access distances, or out-of-scope requests on move day.
• GST is applicable as per prevailing government rates and will be clearly mentioned on the invoice.

4. Payment Terms

• A booking advance (typically 10–30% of the total quote) is required to confirm the move date.
• The balance payment is due upon completion of delivery and before unloading, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods: UPI, NEFT/RTGS, cash, and credit/debit card (at select locations).
• In case of online payment failures, the customer must inform us immediately. Disputed transactions will be reviewed within 7 business days.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• Cancellation 7+ days before move date: Full advance refund, less any direct costs already incurred (e.g., packing materials purchased).
• Cancellation 3–7 days before move date: 50% of advance refunded.
• Cancellation within 48 hours: Advance is non-refundable.
• Rescheduling is permitted up to 48 hours before the move at no charge, subject to truck and crew availability on the new date.

6. Transit Insurance and Liability

• Basic transit insurance is included in all IVAT Packers and Movers moves, covering accidental physical damage during loading, transit, and unloading.
• Coverage is limited to the declared value of goods at the time of booking or the invoice value, whichever is lower.
• Claims for loss or damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours of delivery.
• The Company's liability is limited to the repair or replacement cost (up to declared value) and does not include consequential or incidental damages.
• Items not disclosed for insurance or packed by the customer are excluded from insurance coverage.
• The Company is not liable for damage to inherently fragile items such as marble tops, glass, antiques, or artwork unless specially noted and packed by our crew.

7. Customer Responsibilities

• Customers must provide accurate inventory information for the pre-move survey.
• All plants, pets, perishables, and hazardous/flammable materials are the customer's responsibility to transport separately.
• Customers must ensure adequate access for vehicles and crew at both pickup and delivery addresses.
• A responsible adult must be present at both locations during the move.

8. Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for delays or service failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, floods, government orders, strikes, accidents, or extreme traffic conditions. We will notify the customer promptly and reschedule at the earliest availability.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual discussion within 30 days. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and the jurisdiction of courts in Gurugram, Haryana.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected during booking is used solely for service delivery and is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
